So many things to be thankful for this year I’ll have to just narrow it down to 2. My amazing wife and son (and son #2 on the way) are definitely at the top of list. Secondly is the fantastic opportunity that I’ve had this year to finish up my wage slave job and start my photography business.
Off to tweet this as well.

Thank you for the opportunity to own a little piece of your work. I have the Star of the East business card prominently displayed because of the star fish and the the perfect colour background. I love your calender and would love to give it to my mother for her office. She works with single parents to help and inspire them, and I think your calender would help her feel inspirational!

Your work is gorgeous. I’m thankful for the fact that my family is back together and we are all really happy and excited to see 2010 come.

It’s interesting that you should ask this question, as it was one recently asked by a friend of mine, who is sadly dying and possibly wont live to see Christmas, but..he is hopeful.
Anyway, in his blog when he announced that he would not be around for much longer he too asked this question of all who read, and asked they leave their comments, I thought for quite a while and my answer was simple.
I am thankful I have a husband and daughter who love me, a roof over my head, food in the cuboard, and the security, safety and kindness denied to so many and yet should be the right of all.
That’s it.
Merry Christmas my lovely girl to you and yours

Me, I am thankful for so much- especially for my 2 healthy and amazingly funny kids, my husband who works so hard, the fact that I get to stay home w/ my kids, that my Mom- sister- nieces and nephew are happy/healthy/safe (even though they live 12 hours away!), that I have food in my pantry and hot water running from my taps, good friends all over the world, the quiet of nap time, Christmas music, my Ugg boots, that I live in a country where I can speak my mind, and oh, so much more!
Merry Christmas, Jodie

In a year of personal ill health and widespread financial difficulty, I am thankful we have found each other and the creativity inherent in all of us. From discovering this blog, to attending the Tweed Olympics on bicycle in San Francisco (with the famous crustless sandwich toss), to dragging friends on photo walks to get lost in the beauty of a leaf; I have concluded I am rich no matter what! It is true that there is pain in downsizing, whether in expectations of what we can do physically or what we can afford. But it turns out to be more engaging to look beyond what had been experienced anyway, than to sit around and mourn what can no longer be had. This year more than ever, I am thankful for the boundless enjoyment in community.
I shared you on Facebook.
But I’ve been sending your mini-cards all year.
Your work makes me smile!
I am thankful for my son and with a lot of health problems in the family this year, I am glad we are all still here.
