The penis. The vulva. A poem drawing – 13genitalia

As in the post, SpiderMaam can make me laugh, a penis can do other things.

13genitalia

The hands in the photograph holding that journal entry open are both my own.
13genitalia was created using a 005-Micron pen.

Another Blogger friend has posted recently about sex. Mr. Angry has a great post up discussing the vulva, hymen, religion, tradition and beliefs associated with such. The talk is open.

After a quick Google search it appears, 13genitalia is new. Nothing as far as Google is concerned and technorati for that matter has nothing on 13genitalia. It would be cool to link regular bloggers posts about genitalia that we all create from time to time and most of the time for some. Or, in the least, you are aware of someone who does, for those of you who believe, you don’t have those body parts. We don’t talk about sex, religion and about our beliefs enough in the real world. We are talking through blogging, and discovering we are not all that different from each other after all.

Have you posted about genitalia recently, even sometime in the past?
Write me ;)Email me your link with a short 2-3 sentence description of the post you wrote. I’ll read this and then, go to your blog and take a peak. I’ll post 13 Genitalia Blog Talk links here on this post *forever. If your link gets posted and if you would like to carry **this on, please feel free to do so and tag it with 13genitalia.

13 human emails or a comment below will work too.
The only rule is, I get to choose the 13genitalia links to appear in this post.
You get to choose what links appear in your post. :)

Female Hysteria – Aids that Every Woman Appreciates – reprint

Female Hysteria – Aids that Every Woman Appreciates was first published on June 8, 2006. Minor edits have been made in this reprint.

Hysteria - Jessica Doyle - 2006 - Ink on PaperEngrossed with hysteria I walked into my counselling session today. I travelled emotionally; climbing mountains reaching the peak only to leap off descending to the valley below. How is it possible for a person to cry, leave their body, and smile within a five minute time frame, all the while not knowing how she travelled from one emotional state to another.

I’m OK. It feels odd to actually state “I’m OK.” I neither understand nor remember the triggers of such outbursts. They come unbidden, uncontrolled and inadvertently end, leaving me to digest the days progression.

My councillor is a beautiful, wise and generous person. She knows my secrets. Are they secrets though? For her yes, I would say indeed they are secrets kept in confidence. For me, shedding secrets strengthens my being. I don’t need to hide. When I hide who I am I fill with fear which leads to anxiety which turns into the inability to make decisions leading to eventual hysteria. That word hysteria I looked up in the wiki simply because I have been feeling hysterical lately. They state:

Hysteria is a diagnostic label applied to a state of mind, one of unmanageable fear or emotional excesses. The fear is often centered on a body part, most often on an imagined problem with that body part (disease is a common complaint). People who are “hysterical” often lose self-control due to the overwhelming fear.

Damn they are good! And Damn I’m good for picking the proper word this evening to describe my consciousness. To take it a step farther I then looked up female hysteria. Having known some background on the subject through reading and discussion with others I believe that Damn, it is all too real today, for perhaps many women in some shape or form. Without release through orgasm everything just builds and builds and builds and then you essentially become an hysterical woman. During the earlier part of the 20th century Doctors were rubbing the clitoris of women sometimes for hours to bring on an orgasm, in effect relieving their Hysteria. This practice was a sanctioned medical procedure which lead to the popular invention of the electric vibrator. To my surprise the Sears, Roebuck and Company catalog from 1918 features a whole page devoted to:

As the years progressed Female Hysteria vanished as a medical diagnosis.

Today different manifestations of hysteria is recognised amongst other things, schizophrenia, conversion disorder and anxiety attacks

Note the term anxiety attacks. That one really hit home with me. Today I spoke to my councillor about the lack of sex in my relationship with my boyfriend. She mentioned that sex is actually a good way to relieve anxiety and depression. I thought on this and tucked it away to the back of my mind ’til later this evening after Eric went to bed. Low and behold that theory holds true! One always hears about how men masturbate once or more times per day; women, you know… we could benefit from this stimulation to!

Today my talk with my councillor wasn’t just about sex. Sex was all but a small part of it. Sexuality, however, and the need to be able to express desire and pleasure freely has been difficult for me since I sobered up 10 months ago. Tonight, for the first time in a long time I felt secure in expressing these thoughts and ideas that I have been repressing. There is no shame in writing and/or expressing your femininity openly.

There are three of me at any given time. Photos taken last night just at the stroke of midnight using photobooth.

Today I am 33 years old. As the day progresses, I will list 33 things in this post. If there is something you want to know about me simply ask me in the comments. Don’t be shy! Seriously. 😉

  1. From Bridgett Walther, my favorite astrologer, the Scorpio forcast for November 8: You feel almost as if you’re back to square one this morning, and wonder if you’ve been spinning your wheels or if others haven’t been paying attention. Mercury remains retro in your sign. This is far from fatal but does have a way of forcing one to revisit one’s expectations, timing, etc. A financial matter continues to weigh very heavily on your mind, but can be satisfactorily resolved within the next couple weeks, so don’t panic. In the meantime, count on your most trusted experts and advisers for direction and advice.
  2. I watched the sunrise this morning. It was beautiful.
  3. Breakfast today was a marmelade and crunchy peanut butter spread on Oat & Nut with Honey Bread.
  4. Ugly Ad.Funniest google ad from Sitemeter. Image shown is just a screen capture.
  5. My favorite number is 3. I like odd numbers more than even ones.
  6. Until the end of this year, you could sponsor this site for UPDATE $25 $99 (I honestly had to adjust this price to reflect my/the times. In the coming year this price will take effect) a month through Performancing. Go and ask Dee how he likes it here 😉 And a big thank you to Dee for being my first sponsor!
  7. My two favorite porn sites. This may offend some people. Be warned these two sites are 18+ only, ask your mom or ask your dad before clicking through to XNXX or StileProject. Stile Project on the weekends offers some feature length film downloads in WMV format for FREE. muahahahahahhahaahaaa!
  8. The Mushroom's Rhyme - written and illustrated by Jessica DoyleI am overcoming a fear of selling my artwork for money. As odd as it may read, there lingers intrinsically built into me that… that just wants to share it. All of it. I am working in LuLu readying a pdf release of The Mushroom’s Rhyme. I want it out there. Fear BE GONE. poof! UPDATE – it is uploaded, however the cover is not appearing properly yet *scratches head*. UPDATE It works NOW!
  9. I’m re-considering having written #7, =^.^=
  10. I’m none too sure about my programming skills but I know enough to be formatting this list. My site does not validate. Nope. I do the best I can. :)
  11. Naps are good.
  12. I have been blogging since March 18, 2006.
  13. Two places I would like to live; Venice, Italy and Ireland.
  14. Two places I would like to visit; Japan and Brazil
  15. I have never owned a car. I have been licensed to drive a motor vehicle since age 17.
  16. I do not own a cell phone. Never have.
  17. I recently switched to using widgets in my sidebar.
  18. At the local clothing optional beach and The ball is under control have been uploaded to Flickr. The preview of the latter is visable further down in the sidebar on this site.
  19. This interview with David Moose of the Ontario Gallery of Art on the Gnostic World of Candy Minx is as fabulous as it was informative to read. The discussion afterwards in the comments I highly recommend reading also.
  20. This is the most comments I have ever had on one post. I want it to be my birthday everyday! Well no. Thanks to everyone who is stopping by.
  21. My pink eyed man just left to go buy some wine and ciders. I do have the occassional drink.
  22. …and yes I am still sober off of GHB since August of 2005. :)
  23. An emailed horoscope from my mom this evening. It reads a little different than number 1 of this list. What do you think?

Born today, you are a highly creative individual, but you are prone to behavior and activities that may prove, at times, rather self-destructive. When you are engaged in such activities, you tend to be rather inattentive to your own safety or well-being, which can certainly aggravate the situation considerably. When you are on a roll, you can be counted on to be positive and productive; when you are not, you may well prove a disappointment to others as well as yourself. Your own determination, however, can keep you from staying down for long; you always recover.

You have great longevity, and, when you choose to stick with something through thick and thin, you are a formidable adversary -and you can prove quite effective in the political arena. Of course, you are one of those rare individuals who will almost always speak true.

This is a good day to take a chance — but you’ll want to calculate as best as you can every possible outcome. Err on the side of safety.

  24. Scrabble is my favorite board game.
  25. I cut my own hair.
  26. I wear my boyfriends yellow plastic raincoat that his mother baught for him while he was in boyscouts at age 12. It fits me mighty fine and is a much needed item of clothing when you live in Vancouver, BC during the winter.
  27. Blog I miss most.
  28. Birthday wish. Only, if you believe I deserve it.
  29. The Blogging Times just got a kick-ass new look! Woot!!! Minic it is looking wonderful!
  30. I’m always in my barefeet at home
  31. It began in Afrika
  32. I was 32 years old yesterday
  33. That’s it. I’m off to molest my crippled boyfriend who is laying on the couch.

Night all! Thanks for celebrating with me.

Update
Someone, an un-named one emailed me the site PinkWorld as another Porn site to look at as an addition to number seven on this list. Honestly it was not as good as the other two. It could use some basic CSS styling. The dark yellow on pink is not legible enough. One bonus was this; it has very minimal unobtrusive ads.

And another someone thought I deserved it in number 28. Thanks.

We are all just a bunch of talking heads 18plusssss – seriously

We are all just a bunch of talking heads.

Once a talking head began to write:

Wait, wait for the moment to come
Stand up, stand up and take my hand
Believe, believe in mystery
Love love love love is simple as 1-2-3

I’m a know-it-all, I’m smartest man around
That’s right, you learn real fast through the smartest girl in town
Here come a riddle, here come a clue
If you were really smart, you’d know what to do

Sequential images – Talking001 – testing stats

Last night I placed all the images below in sequence. The images were created using either Kroma Acrylic, a Pilot G-tec C4 pen, a Micron 005 pen, paper, canvas, varnish and/or a combination of those mediums including paintbrushes of varying sizes. They have all been either scanned or photographed digitally. It looks nice sometimes when one can manipulate their created images into a more template based layout. Simply by adjusting the color, levels, gradients etc on photoshop one can achieve another version of their existing artwork. I think it’s cool! I took a screen shot of the photos from iPhoto – all 49 of them.
Sequential images - Talking001 - test?

As I was creating this sequence I was thinking. I am always thinking when still. I needed to talk but it was 4:00 in the morning. I had downloaded Audacity the daynight before and hit record. I read a post I wrote. And hour later I figured out how to import an audacity file into iMovie. An hour later I had a movie.

The original written post was inspired by tony – fiesta man with deep jive interests, and also from all the other bloggers who’s stats I enjoy reading when you post them. Cheers! Here is the testing link. 😉

Abstracted sex is for sale now

hand_lowerleftSM.jpgWhy are you doing this? Being an artist is not unlike any other job or carreer path one chooses or is drawn to . Being financially secure and able to pay your rent or student loan debt is what many of us are faced with regardless of your trade or background. To be able to purchase necessities such as food, shelter, supplies for your trade and formost continue to create; utilizing your skills, talent and education to further understand human nature, technology, compassion and emotion culminates into what could be something that others find useful or needed or simply put, can add to and learn from also.

He popped his cherry

Cotton Swab

Ever heard of an eargasm? It’s similar to an orgasm but this gasm happens in the ear, stimulated by none other than a q-tip, after showering. Eric popped his cherry the other day.

“Ah honey, there is blood on the q-tip” I say as he walks through the kitchen pulling the fuzzy white tipped stimulator out of his ear.

“Oh.” Eric responds pushing the q-tip back into his ear to finish it.

He walked away and we both conitinued with our day. Today however, while laughing to myself about the incident thinking ah my boyfriend popped his cherry. Laughing outloud now by this revelation I stare at him.

“What! wwwhhat, is so funny?”

“You popped your cherry yesterday.”

“It’s not funny. It HURT!”

Roaring I said “It won’t hurt again. It only hurts the first time…”

Staring with an embarrassed smirk he sighs “Jessica…”

You know, he even gets that googly-eyed-look as he does this, daily. It is a strange pleasure, but not unheard of.
