I finished painting those Christmas balls!

I finally finished painting those balls I began earlier. Five are going as Christmas gifts to friends and family. I am keeping one for myself and I’m also doing a trade with the uber talented Shayla Maddox for one of her hand painted balls.

And I’m aware that the sound is not the greatest in this [...]

You have to see the teeth to blow out the candles!

Thumbnail image for You have to see the teeth to blow out the candles!

Saturday night I held a gathering and potluck at my house to celebrate my 36th Birthday with close friends and family. About 15 people came. Later that same night when five of us remained we began playing on the iMac using iSight to record ourselves. Ha!

Thanks everyone who came over to celebrate with me! xoxo

14 months is a long time to wait for camera parts

I had purchased this Panasonic 3CCD mini DV / camera 250 as a sobriety gift to myself about 24 months ago. I had saved all the money I would normally have spent on drugs to buy this camera. It cost about a grand at the time of purchase. Fourteen months ago after my mom visited [...]

LUCIDITY – full feature

I have let go of the chapters.

This film accurately portrays the daily non-trust of myself. Three months ago I wanted to release this movie. Self fear and loathing took over. A relapse of a different kind ensued, that of self denial and anxiety.
This movie was filmed and completed as of December 2004. When I opened [...]

Lucidity synopsis and 365 days sober today!

Today it has been 365 days since my last cap of GHB. There is a documentary I have been working on for the last two years. It has been edited both soberly and amidst full blown addiction. Today marks the day that I will finish this project by integrating words I wrote beginning with The [...]

Raw emotion – distilled into water?

There lives fear everywhere. It’s installed in us when we each are born. This installation learns. In it’s truest and earliest form, fear was an instinct. An instinct such as hunger, and the need for warmth when it was cold; fear kept you safe. Fear is no longer fear. It is Phobic.
I need to think [...]
