I drew this magical acorn a few weeks ago when the leaves were still brilliantly coloured and hanging on the trees here in Saint John, NB. They have since fallen to the ground and certainly do crunch under ones feet.

Melana was created with sepia hued India ink, Prismacolor Verithin lightfast coloured pencils and Windsor & Newton Watercolour on heavy gorgeously textured cream coloured card stock.
