Amelia (Avocado Edition)

Meet Sunshine’s earthy sister!

Both Sunshine and Avocado made the front page of Etsy. Thank you :)

I created the Amelia series from an original gouache and india ink painting on red paper. I removed the background digitally and coloured her using Adobe Photoshop.

There is one other sister and her name is Blueberry.

The original painting is for sale here. And you can find each Amelia Edition in both 5×5 inch and 8×8 inch size within the prints section of my shop.

Hope you like them!

I drew this as a test to see if a miniature drawing could hold up being printed at a 5″ by 7″ or even larger as an 8″ by 10″. This original measures 2.5″ by 3.5″. And guess what it held up beautifully for printing after scanning it at the obscene resolution of 900dpi.

I drew Hope with colored Pilot Pens on dusty rose cotton Canson paper. The white is also an opaque Pilot Pen. I have hope.

Expect many of my miniature’s and ACEO’s to be available for purchase as fine art prints in 5″ by 7″‘ or larger in my store.

And for size reference the top image of Hope is about the size it was drawn at.

Sunflowering Times

An original created using Windsor and Newton watercolor, Prismacolor Verithin colored pencils and India ink on Arches cold press watercolor paper.

The original is for sale in my Art Shop. Prints are now available to!

Size of Original – 6″ by 8″ or 152mm by 203mm
Size of Print – 5″ by 7″ or 127mm by 177mm

This is definitely one of my favorites!

Another land another day another dream

Sometimes art needs to take you away
to another land where flowers spin,
the terrain is checkered moss green and ocher;
where the grass grows as bamboo
and is pointy at it’s tip.

I created this art card using Kroma artist quality acrylic, pigmented ink and archival pen on 1/8″ (3mm) thick cold press illustration board. It is varnished three times and has a lovely sheen about it.

Get your rulers out as the image above is much larger than the original. It’s all about the detail baby!

Available in both open edition 5×7 inch size and in a limited edition run of 100 ONLY in ACEO mini print size in the art shop.

Standard ACEO Size – 2.5″ by 3.5 inches or 6.4cm by 9cm
ACEO – Art Cards Editions and Originals
People collect ACEO’s worldwide just like they do with Magic or Hockey trading cards. They are wallet sized and frames are easy to find for them.

THEN there were five flowers…

THEN there were five flowers...

…sprouting from the orange hued alien terrain.
THEY were happy flowers.

They grew together UNTIL…
